At 2:20 AM this morning it was raining... our sidewalks, driveway and yard was covered with ice. I expected the roads to be icy as well so my sweet hubby got up to take me to the bakery. However, it was 28 degrees so the salt was working and the roads were just mushy for the most part, an icy patch here and there.
That was not the case at 8 AM when I got off work. The rain had changed to snow, the temp had dropped to 22 degrees and the roads were completely covered and very treacherous. I'm glad my sweet hubby came back to pick me up and take me safely home!
Annie had trouble staying on all fours at 2 AM, at 8 AM she could walk okay but she doesn't seem to like the snow being as tall as she is.

I'll be right over! Can you have a cup of hot coffee waiting for me?
cool pics! Annie blends in so well with the snow, it was hard to see her. you are getting brave driving yourself in that weather- I'd be poking along, too! we enjoyed our visit yesterday- thanks again for the hot chocolate!!
As the matter of fact...I didn't go anywhere except outside to sled ride. I didn't venture out in the car until today...Saturday. That is a long time to not go anywhere. 5 whole days...am I lame or what? I am glad you are safe and snug in your cozy house and I would have loved to visit, but I didn't want to be dviving on those slippery roads.
