Bath Time For Annie

This is Annie before bath time, not that she needed a bath REALLY bad;
but just to make her sweeter~!
To see Annie at any other time you'd say she's a good size little dog.
However, when she's soaking wet she resembles
a white-haired, pink bodied rat. (Still, a cute one; that maybe only a mother could love!)

This is the beginning of the drying process;

Coton's are not supposed to be dried with a blow dryer.

Instead I brush and comb her in front of a heater.
The outer hair is dry to the touch but the under coat is still damp;
in cold weather you want to make sure they are good and dry!

She is totally dry here and always after a bath she is ready to play, and play hard!

She loves a tough game of tug-o-war and if you don't let go neither will she~
Even if it means being lifted up off of the ground!
She's great at playing fetch!
And she loves to run. In fact she can run circles around me and Roy .... easily~!She has doubled in size since we got her in November and will get a little bigger.
She weighs about 6-7 pounds.
She really is a sweet dog ~
~ And she's good with babies!
Rorri loves her and Annie loves Rorri!

Annie is cute! You would be proud of us...we're getting a dog in a few weeks. A puppy ~ a mix between a chocolate lab and an English Setter. Madeline picked her out and she is very excited!

You most certainly have. The real clincher will be determined by if your sweet little new arrival will be inside or outside. You can't give them near the attention and love they need if they are outside, leashed or in a pen. Be sure and send me pics when you get the puppy. Boy or girl?
