Christmas Goodies

Emma, Rylee and Dude came over before Christmas to spend the day at Grandma's house.
I couldn't let them in the basement to play because of all the unwrapped gifts that lay on the pool table. What to do to keep them busy and happy? Ah-ha! We'll make goodies for Christmas~!
The idea went over big! They were quite good at decorating and as the pictures show they took it pretty serious too.
I did discover one thing.......... Those teensy, tiny, itty bitty, little small decorating colored balls that are about the size of a pin head .... You know the ones I'm talking about? Well, if you should tip the bowl that they're in and dump only part of them on the floor...... Well, let's just say that gives a whole new meaning to "A little goes a long way"!! Emma working on a rice krispy Christmas tree. Rylee pausing in the middle of decorating a star so I can get a shot of her cute smile!
Even little Chad took things very serious and did really well! They were quite proud of their hard work and no wonder ~ it looked like professionals did it! There's always the fun part of licking the beaters!
And lastly a really close up look at the chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate covered marshmallows, rice krispy cut outs, and macadamia nut cookies~ YUM~! Annie was underneath the table the whole time eating all the mis-placed decorations. It was a fun time for all of us!

I didn't spill my little ball decorations and I am still finding them all over the place, and I have swept with the vaccum. Your treats look spectacular! Where did they get their training? I am sure that they didn't have any trouble eating them.
