Christmas here.. Christmas there ....

Christmas EVERYWHERE~! If your family is like my family then you don't have just one Christmas at a particular place. You have one or two, or three or more Christmases at several different get togethers. These pictures are taken from our two Christmas gatherings. One at Faye's house on Christmas day and the others at Grandpa and Grandma Harville's house on the Saturday after Christmas. What fun!
No, this is not a boogy man ... It is Roy sporting his new bee jacket. Nancy drew Mike's name this year and she made him a very unique gift. A generations picture!~ Mike had to work and we weren't sure he'd make it before some had to leave so Nancy opened his present ahead of time to show it to everyone.... she said Mike would never know. Busted! I caught it on film!
Christmas is a time that everyone gets together and pictures seem to just come naturally.
Chad and Nancy just kind of chillin' Holly, in her Christmas finery!
It is tradition at the Harville gathering to have a paper wad fight with all the wrappings ... This year even the little ones joined in with much vigor! The faces, raised arms, and hands in the progress of wadding paper say it all!
Quick, grab another armload of paper!~
This is the back of Emma unloading on Uncle Joe
Rorri waving to the camera (and grandma!)
Joe sneaking up on Emma to retaliate.
Little Cody, sleeping through most of his first Christmas.
Christi fashioned a beautiful hat for Nancy to wear, complete with lights! It was decided that a tradition was born....... Next year Nancy is to present the hat to someone else in the family with something she has added to it. She says music would be good and that she's already got an idea of what she plans to do. That could be scary!
Leah's parents, Steve and Kate joined us for Christmas on Saturday. We did not have the traditional Christmas meal but instead...... Enchiladas, guacamole, salsa, Spanish rice, salad, and lots of other goodies. It was fun having them join us!
The two grandpas with our two new grand babies of 2008! Lucky us!
Mike worked a long time in the barn for a special gift for Grandpa and myself. Everyone kept making trips out but we weren't allowed to go. Then a hair dryer was requested..... And finally we were called out to see our gift...
It wouldn't be complete until Roy and I had our hands painted to make the final imprints ....
What a sweet idea! A fluorescent sign with all of the Harville's hand prints, every family in their own color and lastly even little Annie's paw print! Thanks a bunch Mike ~ can't wait to get it hung in the basement! It was a another great Christmas with blessings abounding!

What an awesome Christmas. I think I might have to "borrow" a few of your traditions. I love the hat that Christy made and the paper wad fight the kids are at a great age to start that one.
Mike did a great job on the sign, what a sweet gift.

Love the pic Nancy made. It is really neat! Your sign is sooo cool. Can't wait to see it hanging in your basement. We usually do the paper fight thing at my Mom and Dad's. It's fun!! Good thing you explained the bee thing and that it was Roy! THAT was funny! Great pics and fun memories.
