Santa at the Flower Conservatory

We joined together with Mike, Leah and Rorri and Leah's parents, Steve and Kate for a day at the Flower Conservatory for Rorri to see Santa on her first Christmas. It was a beautiful day with lots of pretty sights!
Our first stop was the flower conservatory and then we went to lunch and then to view the train display. Rorri loved it all! She really gets into looking at what's going on around her.
Rorri was too busy watching the waterfall to turn around and smile for the camera! Mommy and Rorri make a pretty picture in front of the flowers don't you think? Mike and Rorri waiting for the train to come around the bend.
Santa was ........ Well....... Rorri wasn't sure what he was. Her look cannot be replaced with words. Just look at that face! And the hands! I'd love to know what she was thinking!!! She did let Santa hold her and didn't cry..... but we didn't get a smile either!! Maybe in a couple of years!

Well don't hold your breath on that smile. It was a long few years for my kids to like Santas lap! Colin actually cried tonight saying he didn't want to sit on Santas lap...ummmmmm where did that come from? It's almost 2 weeks past Christmas. I told him he didn't have to worry about Santa for about 350 days! That didn't make him any happier!
Rory is sure growing like a weed. what a beautiful place to visit.

That is one unsure look. Oh, well. Santa will be more popular in a few years!

Too cute! Madeline was like "who's Santa?" this year too!
