For those of you who don't know I am facing several surgeries in the near future. My first one was yesterday, July 2nd. I had meniscus knee surgery. I didn't know quite what to expect but did not expect how I came out. I WALKED out of the surgery center! What a wonderful surprise!
The only pain I have had at all was a headache from the anesthetic, which is now gone away. My knee is pain free and I can take off the bandages and shower tomorrow! Woohoo!
My next surgery will be scheduled just as soon as my surgeon says I'm ready following this one. It will be on my rotator cuff of my right shoulder. Roy keeps telling me it will not be so pleasant. My surgeon told me it would be an 'intense challenge' for me. How nice. Well anyway, I'm thankful that this one was a piece of cake! Thanks for all who kept me in your prayers!
