I have a wonderful husband! Sometimes I get a little jealous of his heroes... Paula Dean, Rachel Ray and Suzie Homemaker; but hey, he's a great cook, an avid gardener and loves to can and preserve his bounty, and I (the truly lucky one) get to enjoy all of his goodies and miss the hard work! What more could I ask??? Plus, he's a great nurse maid after surgery! Yep, I got me a good one and I think I'll keep him~! Sorry gals, find one of your own!
His beautiful hot pepper plants!
His just thinned and weeded corn....hummm, can't wait!
A portion of his 68+ tomato plants. He cans them, makes super hot salsa, and also cans tomatoes and okra for a wonderful side dish to a meal. (ahem, I did put down newspaper and grass clippings to keep down the weeds on about 8 of the 68; the rest still need weeded) Roy will take care of them!
His okra; which some of which he cans into yummy pickled okra; and some I fry with corn meal which isn't too bad either!
His garden close up or at a distance is a thing of beauty! What a guy!

I am jealous...my corn needs weeded badly, but...I yhink it is just going to have to fight the weeds for space at this point.
My garden-box garden looks even littler now that I have seen Roy's beautiful patch! Impressive!
