Roy put out a huge garden this year with over 60 tomato plants alone! He had all different kinds planted so we could decide which ones we wanted to plant in the future and which ones worked best for his salsa. (which has become quite famous!) In these pictures you will see his famous salsa, which this year was really REALLY hot! He also canned peppers, okra, and okra and tomatoes. Jenna was helping with the lids and rings and quite taken by her grandpa's ability to man the kitchen. He spends much more time in the kitchen these days than I do, and I'm glad he enjoys canning because I do not! I do however enjoy the harvest of goodies that come from my hubbies hard work! quite impressive! I have only gotten 1 tomato from my garden and it is the end of sept. I am so disappointed! But there is next year!
